During February 2019, the teachers Selbie Zekirova and Ana Ivanova Tamakarova carried out introductory extracurricular activities according to the Nansen model for intercultural education with the students included in the project. The purpose of the activities was to introduce the students and create a positive working environment within the classroom. This was achieved through various fun activities and team-building games implemented by the teachers by using tandem cooperation and bilingual approach.
During February 2019, teachers Emel Memisheva and Julia Svirkov carried out the introductory extracurricular activity “Book of Friendship” according to the Nansen model for intercultural education with the students involved in the project.
Every student on a white sheet drew his face. Once the characters were drawn and painted, each student wrote his name on the drawing and so they created the Book of Friendship.
The purpose of the activity was to introduce the students to each other and to create a positive work climate in the classroom and foster mutual trust.
